The Village Choir kicks off in-person singing sessions this Tuesday at St. Barnabas Church! Working with co-director Claire Butterfield has been totally inspiring and creating this singing community with so many diverse voices has been a dream come true! Join us any Tuesday over them next month and give singing with friends a try, your first drop-in is free or take the plunge and sign up at www.thevillagechoir.ca

The Village Choir is back with an adapted Autumn s

The Village Choir is back with an adapted Autumn season! Claire and I have created a diverse program including small in-person, masked choir rehearsals, live streamed rehearsals and The Living Room Jam Series packed with incredible guest artists.
Twelve person ‘choir pods’ will meet at KWENCH and all content will be live streamed giving folks at home the full choir experience!
In addition to learning original choral arrangements, we are thrilled to announce The Living Room Jam Series. Six of our sessions will be devoted to celebrating some of Canada’s top singers and songwriters and these incredible performers will be joining us from their homes to lead the song and do a short Q&A. Our special guests include Ruth Moody(Sept 29), Leeroy Stagger(Oct 13), Small Glories(Oct 27), Dawn Pemberton(Nov 24) and Laura Mitic(Dec 8)
